Primary water is not part of the Earth’s normal water cycle and differs considerably from that of rain-fed water resources.
It is the water that has been formed deep inside the Earth since time immemorial, geologically shielded from the influences of the Earth’s surface. Naturally purified, it makes its way to the surface through subterranean rock formations. It can often be found near the Earth’s surface in primary rock.

Primary water is pure water with a balanced mineral content, free from tritium, and can be drank without the need for filtering. Its high ionic charge, known as the oxidation reduction potential (ORP), is particularly valuable to all living creatures.

»If our planet did not have the ability to store oxygen in the deep reaches of its mantle there would probably be no life on earth.« This was the conclusion reached by scientists at the University of Bonn – Professor Dr Christian Ballhaus (Steinmann Institute of Geology, Mineralogy and Palaeontology at the University of Bonn), Arno Rohrbach et al. In particular, the earth constantly exudes hydrogen, which combines with this oxygen to form water. Without this “oxygen elevator’” in its mantle, the earth would probably be a barren planet hostile to life.

PRIMARY WATER THROUGHOUT HISTORY

Since the 20th century, the discovery of primary water has once again come into the focus of researchers. There are now primary-water location specialists active on several continents.

(1832 in Helsinki, Finland – 1901, Sweden)

A 19th-century botanist, geologist, mineralogist and explorer, and member of the Swedish Academy, he observed the creation of fresh water deep in mines, often near the surface when in the presence of a catalyst such as quartzite, olivine, norite, etc.
He was nominated for the first Nobel Prize in Physics for his fieldwork and paper on primary water “About Drilling for Water in Primary Rock” – 1896.

HEXAGONAL CRYSTALLINE WATER – WATER IN ITS MOST BEAUTIFUL FORM

Hexagonally structured water is crystalline – just like the “river” that flows through the membranes of our cells. Sonnenstein® water is pure, coherent, crystalline hexagonal water.

What is hexagonal water?

Hexagonal water is highly structured water. It is the most stable structure of liquid water. This crystalline geometric structure is formed by eight water molecules (the stellated octahedron).

This specific geometry produces a result known as “molecular coherence”.

COHERENCE AS A CHARACTERISTIC OF THE HIGHEST ORDER

When water molecules are restored to a hexagonal structure, they show remarkable properties of molecular coherence. Molecular coherence strengthens water’s natural ability to store and transfer information. Wasser is more than just water. It is a complex, vital structure with unexpected characteristics.

 

PHYSICAL CHEMISTRY

Water is a simple compound of hydrogen and oxygen (H2O) and it is the most abundant substance on Earth. Water is fundamental to life and exists in the atmosphere (as vapour) and deep in the Earth’s mantle. Most living things comprise at least 70% water, and it readily bonds with other elements through its unique electric dipole in which the positive (+) and negative (-) charges are separate. Oxygen carries the negative charge and hydrogen the positive charge. Hydrogen can bond with other electronegative atoms such as oxygen and nitrogen. This is why water has such a wide diversity of structures and manifestations in nature.

STRUCTURED WATER

Water is one of the most studied substances on earth. It is, therefore, all the more remarkable that so little is understood about the science behind its behaviour and function. The small size of the water molecule belies the complexity of its actions and its capabilities. Water’s unique nature and properties fit more ideally than any other molecule into the requirements for life. An important feature of water’s structure is that the angle and distance of the hydrogen ion to the oxygen ion are changeable.

Liquid water is best described as an intimate mixture of two liquid phases: one that has good three-dimensional hydrogen bonding, an open, less dense structure and lower hydration capability; and one that consists mostly of hydrogen-bonded chains, with a denser, more compact structure and greater hydration capability for all life forms.

NEGATIVE HYDROGEN IONS

Research has determined that the negative hydrogen ions (H-) are potentially enhanced or concentrated in the water vortices and in the presence of biologically active water (i.e. water with a high diversity and abundance of beneficial microbes). In natural systems, this increases the concentration of negative hydrogen ions in flowing water, biologically active ponds/lakes and soils.

This little known nutrient (H-) is, in fact, the smallest element known to exist at this time, and existed before any life on Earth. In spite of its small size, it is indispensable in virtually every chemical reaction in water, soil, plants, animals and humans. Nowhere is this more important than inside cells, where tiny organisms, called mitochondria, translate the free electron negative charge associated with the H- ion into the ATP (adenosine-triphosphate, the source of chemical energy and a catalyst for inter-cell energy transfer), which provides the energy necessary for growth, repair and regeneration.

Stoneware containers have been used to store and preserve food and drink for thousands of years. For centuries, water has also been stored in clay or stoneware bottles for transport over long distances to maintain the water’s natural freshness over a long period of time.

Sonnenstein® spring water lays 76 metres below the ground, protected under several layers of stone, and rises to the surface largely under its own pressure. We fill the water into stoneware bottles gravimetrically using only its own pressure, without it being adversely affected by electromagnetic fields. Most mineral, spring and medicinal waters that come in glass bottles are labelled with the warning “keep out of the light” or “store in a dark place”. For good reason. Warmth that results from light creates the perfect breeding ground for germs. Thanks to its stoneware bottles, Sonnenstein® spring water is naturally protected against heat build-up.

READY FOR NEW THINGS

Recycling Sonnenstein® stoneware bottles*

After using the beautiful stoneware bottles, you can dispose of them in your general waste – or even better, take them to a recycling centre, as stoneware is recyclable. The raw material used in our bottles comprises natural clay and the colour coating is food-safe, so the bottle can be put back into circulation. But we think it would be a real shame to dispose of the bottles. They can be used to store foodstuffs that need to be kept out of the light – such as olive oil. And, of course, they can be used as decoration – for example, as vases, candlesticks and many other things. We’re sure you’ll have more ideas – and we’d love to hear them.
